Focus Features to Feature Four Films at 2007 Toronto International Film Festival

Focus Features will feature four films at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival, which runs Sept. 6 to 15. They are:

Eastern Promises” (opens wide on Sept. 14)
Story: The new thriller from director David Cronenberg again teams him with his “A History of Violence” leading man (Viggo Mortensen). The film follows the mysterious and ruthless Nikolai (Mortensen) who is tied to one of London’s most notorious organized crime families.

Lust, Caution” (opens wide on Sept. 28, expands on Oct. 5)
Story: Following his Academy Award win for directing “Brokeback Mountain,” director Ang Lee’s new film is an espionage thriller set in World War II-era Shanghai. Tony Leung (“Hero,” “In the Mood For Love”) stars as a powerful political figure in 1940s Shanghai.

Story: “Reservation Road” is a tale of the lure of revenge and the power of redemption. The drama revolves around two fathers whose families and lives tragically converge with the death of a child.

Story: The filmmakers of “Pride & Prejudice” reunite for a new movie based on the best-selling 2002 novel “Atonement,” which is a classic British romance that spans several decades.
