‘The Dark Knight’ Filming Update: Off Monday, Tuesday; Back on Wednesday

I just received this note from a reader about “The Dark Knight” filming this week:

We got to see the helicopter scene [on Sunday night]. [On Monday,] we went to Franklin and Washington to get a picture of the cop cars.

We talked to a gal there who said the filming is off [Monday] and [Tuesday] but will be at Randolph and Wells on Wednesday night. Thanks for the scoops!

11:03 p.m. update: I just received this note from a reader:

There were new signs on LaSalle for no parking from Aug. 1 through Aug. 6 for [“The Dark Knight”] filming. It was around LaSalle and Madison up to LaSalle and Washington.

10:23 a.m. update on 7/31/07: I just received this follow-up note from a reader:

There are now no-parking signs on LaSalle south of Monroe down to the Chicago Board of Trade [effective] Aug. 1 to 6.
