July 26, 27 Street Closures For ‘The Dark Knight’ Filming in Chicago

I just received this message from a reader about updated Chicago street closures for “The Dark Knight”. This information comes from the Protective Services Unit of the Illinois State Police.

On Thursday, July 26 and/or Friday, July 27, [“The Dark Knight”] production will be doing some low-flying helicopter filming on LaSalle Street between Jackson and Washington from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

LaSalle Street will be fully closed for the filming, and while the helicopter is in the area, both Monroe and Adams will be closed from Clark to Wells.
