Viral Campaign For ‘The Dark Knight’ Continues With WhySoSerious.com

“The Dark Knight” viral campaign continues with WhySoSerious.com, which comes from the same gang who brought you IBelieveInHarveyDent.com.

On Friday, WhySoSerious.com updated with new instructions for fans participating in the riddles at Comic-Con in San Diego. The site is an exploit by the Joker to recruit people for his gang.

I have compiled a full list of the answers. The phone number to get the game under way was first revealed via writing in the sky.


1) The first clue was offered by calling 800-395-9646.
Answer: inside joke

2) A riddle about the women Jack the Ripper murdered.
Answer: Jack the Ripper

3) An audio file of Joker’s laugh in morse code:
Answer: mountebank

4) An anagram.
Answer: crime of passion

5) Joker says: “Why so serious?” The clue must be retrieved from someone on site at Comic-Con.
Answer: head games

6) Something about prison. It gives you this link to his case file.
Answer: 74 bars
