Spoiler: New Photos Clearly Show Hospital For Upcoming ‘The Dark Knight’ Building Implosion

On Aug. 14, I first reported about the upcoming Brach Candy building implosion in “The Dark Knight”. On Aug. 23, I reported what the building will be transformed into for the purposes of the film.

My report that night showed you a photo verifying the credibility of that information. As it was dark and rainy, my source couldn’t get too close. That same source went back to shoot clear imagery this time.

The building will be a Gotham hospital.

Depending on conditions, the implosion is currently scheduled to take place between 10:30 a.m. and noon either on Wednesday, Aug. 29 or Thursday, Aug. 30. I will update you when I learn more.

1:52 p.m. update on 8/26/07: I received more photos from “Sam PH,” which is the same person from above.

Hey, Adam. It would appear crews are working 24/7 on this. [On Saturday,] a landscaping crew was ridding the northerly parking lot of all debris and weeds. The complex is huge.

There’s also another building behind it where crews were landscaping. In the last picture, you can see a worker with a large letter “R” for one of the signs.

Judging by what faces the building they’re fixing, I’m guessing primary filming will be from the west and southwest sides of the complex.
