Confidential hears the Aussiewood hunk came to the rescue of co-star Maggie Gyllenhaal when her skirt caught fire while shooting “The Dark Knight” in the U.S.
Ledger, who plays the Joker in the “Batman Begins” sequel, dashed to [her] aid when a special effects generator fell over and sent flames onto her skirt – saving [her] from harm.
