Anagram, Coded Message Discovered in Source Code at ‘The Dark Knight’ Viral Web Site
I have been e-mailing back and forth with a reader who has been analyzing the source code at Rent-a-Clown.com.
As a refresher, WhySoSerious.com (which was a highly trafficked viral Web site for “The Dark Knight”) now redirects to Rent-a-Clown.com. Clown photos on that site are from Comic-Con attendees.
The letters “made you look” are in the source code (archived here) at Rent-a-Clown.com. These lower-case letters are jammed into all the “HAHAHAHA” text throughout various rows. For example:
AHAHAHAHAmHAHAHAHAHaAHAHAHAHAHAHA
MadeYouLook.com was registered anonymously on Oct. 31, 2000.
While others have noticed this code recently, here’s an observation that hasn’t been discovered previous to this post: The letters “made you look” are an anagram for “me,” “you” and “Old Oak”.
There is a street named Old Oak about 20 minutes from where Comic-Con took place.
