The Weinstein Company Plans Release of ‘Knight Rider’ in 2008

I know “The Dark Knight” has been headlined a lot at HollywoodChicago.com lately, but today, I’m featuring a different kind of “knight”: the “Knight Rider”.


From the minds at The Weinstein Company, the film is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to be released in 2008. IMDb describes it thusly:

Based on the 1982 series of the same name, a lone crime fighter battles the forces of evil with the help of his indestructible and artificially intelligent car.
