Chicago Press Junkets: ‘A Mighty Heart,’ ‘Evening,’ ‘Rescue Dawn,’ ‘Joshua’
I’m at the Four Seasons now about to head into an interview with “A Mighty Heart” director Michael Winterbottom. The film is Mariane Pearl’s memoir to the death of her husband, Daniel, in the line of duty as a journalist. I spoke with “Evening” director Lajos Koltai on Wednesday.Though shot as an independent, the film boasts an impressive cast that includes Claire Danes, Toni Collette, Vanessa Redgrave and Patrick Wilson with small but punchy roles by Meryl Streep and Glenn Close.
On June 21, actor Steve Zahn will be in town to interview for “Rescue Dawn”.
