Bruce Wayne’s Swanky High-Rise Apartment Sequence Shot at 211 N. Michigan Ave.

A reader has informed me that “The Dark Knight” filmed a sequence on June 15 in the lobby of the 211 N. Michigan Ave. office building in Chicago. The reader added:

It took them about a month to build the set. The set is supposed to be Bruce Wayne’s swanky high-rise apartment. They used half of our lobby and replaced the oversized glass windowpanes with green screens.

They built floor-to-ceiling bookcases to block off our elevator banks. They constructed a winding staircase and then dressed the set with tables and party couture. I heard that the Joker crashes the party.

I will be interested to see what CGI they use for his apartment view.
