‘The Dark Knight’-Themed Roller Coasters Coming to Three Six Flags Parks in 2008
Six Flags announced on Sept. 27 that “The Dark Knight”-themed roller coasters are coming to three Six Flags theme parks in 2008, according to UltimateRollercoaster.com.
The article says the new ride, which has been dubbed “The Dark Knight Coaster,” will open in May 2008 in Jackson, N.J.; Gurnee, Ill.; and Agawam, Mass. Each installation will cost approximately $7.5 million.
Similiar to the existing Batman coaster at Six Flags, “The Dark Knight Coaster” will “transform guests into citizens of Gotham City [who are] caught in the middle of a city under siege and torn apart by the Joker,” the article says.
